Quality Construction from a Long time Austin Builder. Founders of Ash Creek Homes, Scott Morledge and Bruce Wencel, began their careers as custom builders. They created Ash Creek Homes in 1982 and began creating custom homes in the Austin area. After perfecting hundreds of custom homes, Morledge and Wencel identified a need in the Austin area for a builder who delivers the detailed and quality construction of a custom home builder together with cost efficiencies in developing communities. Inspired by this need, Ash Creek Homes created its first community, Mesa Hollow. Mesa Hollow and all Ash Creek Homes communities thereafter featured homes with open floor plans, flexible space, and maximized square footage.
