Rancho Mission Viejo is part of a 200,000-acre land grant that John Forster received in 1845. The area is a 23,000-acre ranch that makes up four different master planned communities. Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Ladera Ranch, and Las Flores are the four cities that reside on the original Rancho Mission Viejo. However, there is a new master planned community in development called Sendero. It recently opened and is anticipating a lot of growth the area.

Since Sendero is new, the area is filled with new homes. Like the original four neighborhoods, Sendero will have the same community feel. Sendero is located on a part of the 23,000 acres of Rancho Mission Viejo. Since there are multiple cities in the area, the combined population is approximately 180,000. The median age in the area is 33 and the median home value is $675,000 for a home and $375,00 for a condo. Since these areas are all master planned, they are very beautiful. There are plenty of activities for families. The same will be true with the new property in Sendero. It is a great location because it is close to the ocean. Plus, there are a lot of amenities nearby.

If you are looking for great communities, you should be able to find something in this area regardless of your budget. There is something for everyone. It is a wonderful place to call home.
